She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Halander was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
