History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Thiala was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Meena hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Her first spouse was a Soapmaker, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and her religion dominates her actions

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. He tends to his Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This late middle aged man tends to wear a large brown jacket and is in decent physical shape. His auburn hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and a strong sense of loyalty to half-elven people

History: Joan was born the youngest of three triplets. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her druidic talents. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and doesn't want to be a seamstress and was forced into it by her family

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.
