Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Aerdeth hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. After a long history of fighting, Rinn and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: She got into the Knight business at a young age. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has achieved small success as a Knight.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Detective.
