Her father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Gesrethe was heart-stricken from the event, and her mother started working long hours to provde for them. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gesrethe fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. History: Eberdeb was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Orla was born with her mother's beautiful face. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. After coming to the age of reason, Kugáluga took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Detective they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Junk Dealer, and she later adopted a second son.

History: Cairn was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Cairn liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well.
