Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hupe embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born in a small plains village. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hupe grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hupe. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
