He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Barendd was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: Tricking is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Tricking lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Efferil liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Guard. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Scribe, but he got bored and became a Guard. He has worked as a Guard like his mother before him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
