History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people; and half-elven compassion

To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Hlin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many drow want her driven away.

She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She became a Guard soon after.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Elven companion (her 'brother'). She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Erdan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
