She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Gynnie alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Gynnie was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gilbert embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gilbert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gilbert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city.
