History: Vola was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She struck the Fortune-teller job and began her own company from there.

History: Markosian was born the youngest of three triplets. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Banker, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Slave Trader but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: Expand her business; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Oolah was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
