Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.
History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Portia abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has achieved small success as a Courier.
Motivation: To be a Jeweler again.

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He tends to wear a black poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His golden hair is long and unkept. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Detective arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While he appears to be a normal Half-Orc, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has beige fur. This green eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Description: She wears light armors faded through time and improper care. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly scimitars and shortspears. She has slicked back auburn hair. Her skin is flawless and her gray eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.
History: She got into the Bellfounder business at a young age. Thea was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Thea decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bellfounder.
Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she is unsatisfied with her job

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. After coming to the age of reason, Nala took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She is generally shirtless and showing off her tattooed chest. Her chestnut hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a skull scrunchie. She has a dull look in her red eyes.
Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Gnome, and stands approximately 3'6". He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a blue coat, and his gloved hand is found clutching a lance. His moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.
History: Rimple lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Rimple took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rimple fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, and his gloved hand is found clutching a ceremonial dagger. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: Delg speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Delg was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bather they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Cook, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cook and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
