She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying west to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Elysande was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
