History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the east were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: The child of a Spy, who enjoyed hunting, Seven was taken on many hunting expeditions. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mialee grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mialee. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the east to a Laborer, Vilberg learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against gnolls
