Description: A middle-aged man, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a white coat, and is pretty ugly. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy silver hair. His fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.
History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has amber eyes.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Bhevek was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Bhevek decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: 4'10" and muscular, this eastern woman wears suspenders and grey workpants. Her shirt is red, and she wears a heavy grey leather apron most of the time. She wears a colorful flower in her chestnut hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.
Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.
History: Hugolina was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Farmer for hire.
Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats.

His white hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.
Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: William was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roge grew up listening to his father's many stories. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.
History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Tiaathque alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the west were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Personality: She hates Half-Elves with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.
History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. After coming to the age of reason, Katherine took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Katherine fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and a strong sense of loyalty to half-elven people
