History: Born in the east to a Herbalist, Mardred learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Pikar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Being a Bellfounder kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears skinny pants and wears a blue and black robe with the hood down. Her hair is white, silky, and of moderate length. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Tippletoe is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. His hair is long and silver with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: Paelias was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Paelias took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up dagger and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Paelias was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.
