History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Gimurt was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gimurt's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and to end his boredom

History: The child of a Stableman, who enjoyed hunting, Aura was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
