History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Avice has worked very hard to control her curse. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Right-Handed speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Right-Handed was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Right-Handed's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
