Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Navigator work with an outfit from a few towns over. Navigator work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She bought a rapier and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: He was born in the south. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
