History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Oren's homeland. Oren decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. The war was a terrible time for him, and Thamuz does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Thamuz was born the youngest of three triplets. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Apothecary, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his father died while driving off some orcs. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in nunchaku use. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Soapmaker arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Right-Handed embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and wants to work out more often

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears pastel robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a sickle, but if one is not available he will default to his halberd. He has wavy beige fur. His copper eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Nimble enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nimble was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Kelter has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Torgga lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
