History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the east to a Scribe, Azgrom learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult

History: She is a Jackalwere in disguise. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with her old friends

History: Qualen lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Painter and was forced into it by his family.

Description: An older woman who wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body, she is not a threatening figure. Her chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: She hates giants. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Pyntle is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
