History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Shaena reached her early adolescence her Halfling mother passed away. History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Pandjed was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
