History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. A true patriot, Carrie would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his hand crossbow, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. His silver hair is long and unkept. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Map Maker profession.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He's also a talented Map Maker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: An older woman who wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her ceremonial dagger with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt, she is not a threatening figure. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Ilanis liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tiefling artifacts is her passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A middle-aged woman, she is wearing a tight brown one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape, and is pretty ugly. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her eyes are likewise gray. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.
History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and someone believes her a fraud

His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Scribe but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: To be a Map Maker again; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When Uthemar reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and to clean up the streets

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around his neck, and a quarterstaff on his belt. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.
Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Zaffrab fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. He usually wears his blue robe and has his mace always slung over his shoulder. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. His hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: Frouse speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Frouse grew up listening to his father's many stories. Frouse abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
