Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Ovina isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing poetry.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born in the north to a Carter, Aura learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has worked as a Carter like his father before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult; and he wants revenge against brigands

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears baggy violet pantaloons and a brown scarf. Her blonde hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Her half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. The war was a terrible time for her, and Katherine does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Katherine was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Anselm was born the youngest of three triplets. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Personality: He is a Locksmith first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Born to a Healer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the south. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. She was taken from her home at a very young age. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He hates Halflings with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.
