Charles's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

She found a children's book about a Dragonborn Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.
