The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Merchant for hire.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying south to reunite her family. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born in the west. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She struck the Dyer job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has never given up on his dancing dream.
