History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: Guy wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Guy fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Description: 2'9" and muscular, this southern woman wears a white coat over a black low-cut shirt, and a broad hat upon her head. Her chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. The war was a terrible time for her, and Eida does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She got money to start a business from the gang present in town. She is greatly indebted to them.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new navigator responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was born into a rich family. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and many dire rats want her driven away

Description: He wears a fancy black suit. He is portly but not overly obese. His rusty crest is thinning but still full. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep red.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born to a Barkeep, his father struggled to pay the bills. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a shortspear and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He keeps his long black hair kept up in a rat tail. His eyes are green.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Joser grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Joser. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
