Description: She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. She carries a battered lance and tarnished flail as well. She has a very tight haircut. Her hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: She was born at the edge of vast island. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Murgen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a black suit, grey shirt, and red tie. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are likewise red. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and retire the richest man in the north

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and to reunite with her absent mother

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Reynard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
