History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Engong was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born in a small forest village. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Akmen is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Akmen has worked very hard to control his curse. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Ruler who has hired him part-time. He is an amazing painter.

History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has achieved small success as a Ruler.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Bree took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up pickaxe and armor she uses now. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Raer was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Raer and his spouse have recently divorced.
