Description: This slender woman stands about 4'11". She is well dressed, constantly wearing a black suit, white shirt, and brown tie. Her silver hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. The war was a terrible time for her, and Shautha does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: Shautha hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She married young, but lost her spouse to brigands. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her childhood dream was to be a Stableman, but she was a colossal failure. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Farmer.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Vlorn's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.
History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shipwright. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and to settle down with his crush

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Glassblower they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Gardener, and she later adopted a second son.
Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

History: She got into the Miller business at a young age. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Miller. She tends to her Miller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
Motivation: Expand her business; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.
History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered dire rats who tried to eat her hand. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Williamina was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: Born in the west to a Sage, Bimpnottin learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has a auburn handlebar mustache and slicked back auburn hair. His half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: The child of a Dilettante, who enjoyed hunting, Caeldrim was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
