History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nikki fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Uthemar grew up listening to his father's many stories. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
