History: Born in the north to a Map Maker, Cairn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Doctor, but he got bored and became a Map Maker. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He now owns his own business.

History: Ulla was born with her mother's beautiful face. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.
