History: Rieta lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. She's also a talented Apothecary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To unite with his sister.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Leucis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Leucis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: He was born into a rich family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born into a rich family. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Orc activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Orc doctor. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
