History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Harann. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Tanner.

History: Born to a Miller, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
