Personality: Yurk wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Yurk was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Ishte's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is a great chef.
History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born into a rich family. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. She is a great chef.
History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. After months of barely getting by, Merla managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: He was born in a small mountains village. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Jeweler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Mindartis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
