History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the west to a Detective, Caramip learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting dire rats, the young Caramip began to lead the lost caravan. She struck the Detective job and began her own company from there.
Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and someone believes her a fraud

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Aramil's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aramil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and to pay off his debts

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Oloric liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Audhild was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
