History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: Anne hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Anne was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions

History: Cagak was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He became a Marshal soon after.

Motivation: To be a Ruler again; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to get a good night's sleep
