History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Varis liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thava fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Nuraval was born the youngest of three triplets. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She was born in a small forest village. She found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Interpreter for the past few years.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
