Description: An older man who prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is brown and curly. He has several tiny emerald earrings on each ear.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. Thervan enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Ghash hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born to a Bounty Hunter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is content; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born in the west. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While she appears to be a normal Tiefling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Drifting was born with her father's beautiful face. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Born in the east to a Bather, Eggren learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
