History: She was born into a rich family. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything.
