Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Merla embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she dresses well, wearing black shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. Her silver hair is smooth and relatively long. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was born into a rich family. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born in a small forest village. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. After a long history of fighting, Andraste and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing her hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. Through the years after Caramip was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Caramip's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: To be a Carter again.

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He wears his silver hair up in a very large beehive style do. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Junk Dealer, and he later adopted a second daughter.
