Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he very much looks the part of a Layabout. His auburn hair is thinning but still full. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: Theodoric lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with his Tanner mother left him crippled. He's also a talented Tanner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She is well dressed, constantly wearing a grey suit, black shirt, and green tie. Her brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. She wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When Margery reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears suspenders and green workpants. His shirt is brown, and he wears a heavy green leather apron most of the time. He keeps his long black crest kept up in a rat tail. He has gold eyes.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: Revenge.

Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears a grey broad hat and grey clothes. She has wavy auburn hair. Her skin is flawless and her blue eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Oriel is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: Oriel was born with her mother's beautiful face. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He became a Dilettante soon after.

It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. Her silver crest is thinning but still full. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.
Personality: Jheri is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is a great chef.
History: Born to a Locksmith, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is her passion
