History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Description: Standing 5'2", this woman wears bulky brown painted plate armor. Her fur, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. Her yellow eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Cloud lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student she started as a Mercenary, but she got bored and became a Detective. She became a Detective soon after.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his father died while driving off some goblins. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in dagger use. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

He has styled his black hair well, parting it to the left. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aelar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Cartwright, but he got bored and became a Dyer. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and wants to work out more often

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miller. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miller and was forced into it by his family.
