He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. She tends to her Slave Trader job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bookbinder. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
