History: Takra was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Priest responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Skak alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Whurbin hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against giants

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and further expansion of business

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Through the years after Mary was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Mary's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
