History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). In the meantime he has taken over work as a Locksmith and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Geva alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it
