History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
