History: Bethrynna hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Born to a Slave Trader, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Paelias isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Elven unity. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has worked as a Roofer like his mother before him.
