History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She married young, but lost her spouse to giants. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Darrow grew up listening to his father's many stories.
