History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: She was born in a small island village. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: Furrele was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She now owns her own business.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Arannis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Arannis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Soapmaker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
