History: Symma lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born to a Carpenter, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. His first spouse was a Shoemaker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Her gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and retire the richest man in the west

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: He wears a tan coat over a white low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Pog grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Pog. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
