The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Lewis was born with his mother's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She got into the Knight business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Knight. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Knight for hire.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Alex was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Scribe. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: The child of a Mason, who enjoyed hunting, Nyx was taken on many hunting expeditions. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Courier responsibilities is difficult; and to be a mason again

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He tends to his Soapmaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Barber again; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His black hair is smooth and relatively long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. A true patriot, Dayereth would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
